Meet The Trainers
Damien Fortson Sr.
Damien was born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio, and quickly learned the true meaning of, “working hard for everything that you get.” Damien was a student-athlete scholarship recipient for the Michigan State University football program, where we played defensive back from 2001-2003.
He has been a personal trainer since 2011. He has trained high school and collegiate athletes. Assisting them with earning athletic scholarships or professional contracts.
Damien has a true passion for athletics and personal health and fitness. He takes a personal interest in the growth of his athletes and clients. He is a husband and father of four children.
Brad Robinson is a hometown product, born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a husband and father of four beautiful children and one amazing grandson. He was a student-athlete at Ottawa Hills High School where he played football, basketball, and ran track.
Brad has over thirteen years of coaching experience. He has also been involved in youth ministry for over ten years.
Brad has a passion for helping young people achieve greatness and he believes that sports create a great opportunity to do so.
Michael Noble is a native of Kankakee, Illinois where he attended Kankakee High School. He graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor in Health Care Systems Administration and also earned a master's degree in Post-Secondary Education Administration.
He was formerly the head basketball trainer for both Ottawa Hills High School and the Urban Young Life Sports Academy.
Mike developed Noble Strong training to give every athlete an opportunity to excel in the sport of basketball.
Shakur Sanders is from Grand Rapids, Michigan where he attended Ottawa Hills High School and was trained by Mike Noble. Shakur was a student-athlete and scholarship recipient for the Ferris State University football program.
At Ferris State, Shakur was a three-year starter WR. He was a pre-season All-American candidate and All-Conference. He helped lead the bulldogs through two undefeated seasons, two straight GLIAC Championships, and the NCAA Playoffs. Shakur was also invited to the Baltimore Raven’s Rookie Camp.
Shakur graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Communication and Psychology. He is an experienced athlete with a passion for helping the youth succeed in sports, accomplish their goals, and reach their full potential.
